You will be picked up from your hotel in Melbourne at the scheduled time in the afternoon for the penguin parade in Phillip Island. Drive through some of the most established suburbs and popular shopping districts in the city of Melbourne on your journey heading towards Phillip Island.
You will drive past the tiny fishing village of San Remo where you will see the local fishermen casting lines off the jetty. Cross the only bridge that connects Phillip Island to the mainland and head to the Phillip Island Visitor Centre. The Phillip Island Visitor Centre boasts all the necessary information on Phillip Island including its history, wildlife, and the iconic Penguin Parade. Here you can learn about the little penguins and their lifestyle. You can also browse through centre’s souvenir shop for your own piece of penguin memorabilia.
